Roles of the Governing Body:

  • The Governing Body serves as the highest decision-making authority for the institution, comprising key members including the Chairman, Member Secretary, Principal, and senior professionals from associated hospitals and universities.
  • It sets strategic direction, reviews policies, and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies and educational standards.

Responsibilities of the Governing Body:

  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical education and continuous improvement of academic standards.
  • Approving budgets, financial policies, and resource allocation for institutional development.
  • Supervising implementation of rules related to anti-ragging, discipline, and student welfare.
  • Overseeing faculty appointments, promotions, and staff development to maintain effective teaching and research.
  • Monitoring regulatory compliance with PCI guidelines and local authorities relevant to pharmaceutical education.
  • Addressing grievances and supporting the resolution of issues faced by students and staff.

These roles and responsibilities enable the Governing Body to guide the institute towards excellence in pharmacy education and ensure responsible administration throughout the campus.
