Committee For SC/ST

Rahman Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (RIPSR) have constituted the Committee for SC/ST for the Institution comprising of the following members.

The Committee for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) is established with the following objectives:

1. Promote the special interests of students in the reserved category and provide special inputs in areas where the students experience difficulties.
2. Conduct remedial coaching classes on life skills, personality development, writing assignments, and making presentations.
3. Organize interactive sessions and informal meetings with students to attend to their personal, social, and academic problems.
4. Redress grievances regarding academic, administrative, or social problems.
5. Improve the socio-economic conditions of the scheduled caste and tribe.
6. Curb offences related to ill behavior against SCs and STs.
7. Curb denial of economic, democratic, and social rights to SCs and STs.
8. Protect the SC and ST community from social disabilities like denying access to certain places.
