Radio Frequency Radio Frequency (RF) is the attended delivery of focused radio waves to specific tissues for aesthetic purposes and pain management. RF is attracted to tissue with fluid and causes friction in the targeted site. RF friction energy results in deep heating of dermal tissue in the subcutaneous fatty regions. Deep heat will tighten collagen, stimulate new collagen production and heat lipid cells to a point where fat is liberated through cell walls. Liberated fat is drained through the lymphatic system. What is the RF?
Slide 4-

What is the RF? Mechanism of Skin Treatment using RF Wrinkle & Rejuvenation : Treatment using Radiofrequency can increase the body core temperature up to 40℃ dramatically in relatively a short period. Thus radiofrequency treatment is effective in obesity treatment, various esthetic skin cares including rejuvenation, wrinkle recovery, skin tightening. Whitening : melanin is helps protect the skin damage caused by ultraviolet radiation from the sun. RF is normalized secrete hormones and then excrete waste toxin. So, it restrain melanin secretion and disolve the coloring melanin. Acne : RF controls the sebaceous gland and rejuvenate the skin, so automatically fall off the dead cell and disappeared the scar. Relaxing : This heating effect can dilate the vascular system and facilitate the blood flow. It is effective in several kinds of pain symptoms. Diet : RF Increase metabolic rate. It is effective face-line contouring and furthermore body immune system boostering.

The RF Effect on the Skin Anti-aging Aging ? Aging is steadily and harmful process by complex chemistry. This chemistry exposed to environment and UV. It provoke a split in the skin matrix and structure of epidermis. Exposure to the UV can accelerate the aging process. Effect The fiber protein of collagen helps expansibility. ( Collagen is a protein that enables skin to stretch) Skin expansibility depends on the structure, role, function and the number of collagen fiber. These ingredients are released by natural body moisture and help the skin stay firm and smooth. What is the RF?

CIT(Collagen Induction Therapy) by Micro-needling When it is applied to the skin, under local or topical anesthesia, sterile Micro-needle are used to create many microscopic channels deep into the dermis of the skin, which stimulate your own body to produce new collagen. These channels also improve the penetration of vitamins A and C creams. Vitamins A and C stimulate skin renewal, thereby making the skin appear fresher and younger. Mechanism of Needle RF

WHM(Wound Healing Mechanisms) by RF energy Since Micro-needles are insulated except the edge part(0.3mm), Micro-needle electrodes of VIVACE deliver bi-polar energy directly deep into dermis without damage in epidermis. Minimally invasive RF thermal energy creates fractional electrocoagulation in dermis which facilitate natural Wound Healing Process. WHM promote the remodeling of collagen and wound contraction, which enhance skin laxity. Not only stimulate dermal remodeling but also RF inhibit sebaceous gland activity to improve acne. concentrate energy on Dermis and Epidermis Mechanism of VIVACE

Dual RF Mode Wider RF emission for skin tightening Intensive RF emission for scar & pore
Slide 13-

Insulated / Non insulated Micro needle Insulated Non-insulated RF effect from epidermis to dermis RF effect around Non insulated part(dermis) Non-insulated Distinction * Insulation type needle : wrinkle, Lifting, Tightening * Non-insulation type needle : Acne, Acne scar, Pore Insulated needle is charged with electric current at edge of needle only and it is more effective to be used under 1MHz which penetrates into dermis and much better effect for lifting and tightening. Non-insulated needle is charged with electric current at whole body of needle and therefore, it is more effective to be used under 2MHz which is effect from epidermis and much better effect for Pore and Acne.

Vivace vs Other Lasers
Slide 15-

Vivace Fractional RF Tip Information Distinction Vivace has 36 needles within 1 square centimeter compare to other device and it is more effective for pain and treatment area
Slide 16-

Compare of needling motor Distinction
Slide 17-

Why choose the step motor system on VIVACE? Step motor system can control the depth automatically. So it has great accuracy. The System automatically find the needle distance. So the needle penetrate uniformly by shot. The system has so quite than the other system. For example, solenoid system cannot control distance. It causes a lot of noise. And it has less durable. Also, VIVACE uses bi-polar Motor. Because bi-polar motor control closely and produce a big torque meter, it tends to use a lot of robot control. Distinction

Needle Coating - Conductivity (mhos/m) Distinction Vivace uses 24k golden coated needle to keep the high heat conductivity and avoid any allergy and corrosion.
