What is musculoskeletal pain? Musculoskeletal pain can be briefly defined as short-term or prolonged discomforts. Musculoskeletal pain affects the muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments or joints. According to the WHO, about 20 to 33% of the world population have been reported to suffer from such musculoskeletal pain conditions.
