In addition to these treatments, patients with metastatic bone disease may also receive supportive care, such as pain management, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. The goal of orthopedic treatment for metastatic bone disease is to improve the patients quality of life and relieve pain and discomfort associated with the condition.
