The treatment for nonallergic rhinitis and sinusitis varies depending on the cause and severity of the condition. Nonallergic rhinitis can be managed with over-the-counter nasal decongestants, antihistamines, and saline nasal sprays. Avoiding irritants that trigger symptoms can also help. Acute sinusitis is usually treated with antibiotics, nasal corticosteroids, and decongestants. Chronic sinusitis may require a more comprehensive treatment plan, including prolonged courses of antibiotics, nasal corticosteroids, and in some cases, surgery.
