Facts About Ted BUNDY He was connected to at least 36 murders, but they think he murdered more than 100 women He was born to his unwed mother, and he lived with his grandparents who told him that his mom “Eleanor” was his older sister In 1951, his mom Eleanor moved to Washington with Ted and married Jonnie Bundy, they had several more children together At an early age, he began to show an interest in knives, and an involvement with or depiction of death and injury As a teenager, he began to peep in other people’s windows In 1967, he attended the University of Washington, and began dating Stephanie Brooks. When they broke up he was devastated. In the early 1970’s he volunteered at a suicide hotline with the author Ann Rule who eventually wrote the book about Ted Bundy called The Stranger Beside Me. In 1972, he graduated with a degree in psychology, and got accepted into law school in Utah

Facts about Ted bundy Continued In 1974, he began his murderous rampage. Most of the women looked like his ex-girlfriend. They had long, dark hair. He raped them, and then he beat them to death. He often lured his victims into his car by pretending to be injured and asking for their help. Their kindness proved to be a fatal mistake. He murdered in Washington State, Florida, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Colorado in his Volkswagen In 1974, he moved to Utah, and more women started disappearing In 1975, he was pulled over by police. A search of his vehicle uncovered a cache of burglary tools-a crowbar, a face mask, rope, and handcuffs. He was arrested for possession of these tools and the police began to link him to much more sinister crimes. In 1975, Bundy was arrested in the kidnapping of Carol DaRonch, one of the few women to escape his clutches. He was convicted and received a one-to-fifteen-year jail sentence in that case. Two years later, Bundy was indicted on murder charges for the death of a young Colorado woman. He decided to act as his own lawyer in this case. During a trip to the courthouse library, Bundy jumped out the window and made his first escape. He was captured eight days later. In December of 1977, he escaped again and killed three more girls. He was sentenced to the death penalty three times. January 24th, 1989 Ted Bundy faced the electric chair.

Anti-Social Personality Disorder Mental health disorder characterized by disregard for others. Disinhibited behaviors such as high-risk taking, disregard for responsibility, and impulsivity. They are mostly concerned with gaining personal power or pleasure and only focus on their own gratification. Persons with this disorder have little to no capacity for intimacy and will exploit others if it benefits them in relationships. Sexual Psychopath A person who displays symptoms characteristic of sexual psychopathy which may be caused by genetics, environmental, and interpersonal factors Some symptoms include constant need for stimulation, lack of remorse or guilt, shallow emotions, and lack of empathy.

Signs and symptoms of sexual psychopath incapable of love, don’t experience remorse or guilt, very impulsive, act on slightest of urges, a desire for power and control, perception of victims as objects of pleasure and satisfaction.
