WAY FORWARD FOR SUCCESS Non-Covid patients are being evenly distributed throughout the available medical centers (most within 20 minutes of Elmhurst) Non-ICU wards transitioned to accept ICU patients Tent set up outside for screening and treatment of non-critical patients Nurse advice line Allocate ambulatory clinic staff to the tent, releasing ER staff to care for more critical patients Appropriate allocation of staff and supplies PPE (masks, face shields, gloves, booties, head coverings, and gowns), medical supplies (test kits, oxygen, etc.), and ventilators. Leadership empowerment Autonomy and awareness to adjust workflows, repurpose treatment rooms, and direct admission processes
