The two types of diabetes are Type 1 diabetes and Type 2 diabetes.

The pathophysiology of diabetes involves several complex mechanisms that contribute to hyperglycemia. These mechanisms include Insulin resistance, Impaired insulin secretion, Increased glucose production, Abnormal glucagon secretion, etc.
