Slide 4-

The system that moves blood throughout the body. The circulatory system is composed of the heart, arteries, capillaries, and veins. This remarkable system transports oxygenated blood from the lungs and heart throughout the body via the arteries.

DECREASING BLOOD PRESSURE 10. Aorta 9. Systemic Artery 8. Pulmonary Artery 7. Arteriole 6. Systemic Capillary 5. Pulmonary Capillary 4. Venules 3. Veins 2. Superior Vena Cava 1. Inferior Vena Cava
Slide 6-

Why there are vessels having relatively lower pressure and higher volume?
Slide 7-

Using the explanation about the equation P=QxR, explain the relationship between blood pressure and the factors affecting namely: heart rate, blood volume, and blood vessel diameter.
Slide 8-

Heart rate is directly proportional to blood pressure. Blood pressure is directly proportional to volume and inversely proportional to diameter or radius if it is blood vessels
Slide 9-

Why is blood pressure regulation important? What are the implications of lower or higher than normal pressure?
Slide 10-

Low blood pressure Can cause dizziness and fainting. And severely low blood pressure can deprive your body of enough oxygen to carry out its normal functions, leading to damage to your heart and brain
Slide 11-

high blood pressure If you have high blood pressure, this higher pressure puts extra strain on your heart and blood vessels. Over time, this extra strain increases your risk of a heart attack or stroke. High blood pressure can also cause heart and kidney disease, and is closely linked to some forms of dementia
