Only therapy that focuses on training parents is recommended for young children with ADHD because young children are not mature enough to change their own behavior without their parents’ help.

How long to continue the treatment? The treatment may be continued for a period of 3-6 months at a time to as long as required – i.e. for a couple of years, till the child matures-out of his ADHD. Review every 3-6 months, the need to continue the treatment
