COMPLICATIONS POTENTIALLY RELATED TO AKI OR RRT: DEFINITIONS Hemorrhage was defined as requirement for red blood cell transfusion Thrombocytopenia : platelet < 100,000/mm3 Thrombosis of a large venous axis was diagnosed by Doppler ultrasonography Hypokalemia : potassium < 3 mmol/liter Hypophosphatemia : phosphate < 0.6 mmol/liter Hyperkalemia : potassium > 6.5 mmol/liter.
