1 Overview What is the purpose of this report? The purpose of this report is to determine if there has been any changes reported in the treatment of cancer across France now as restrictions ease and exit lockdown We will be comparing what Onco Specialists are telling us now (Wave 2) vs what they said at the start of the pandemic (Wave 1) The information gathered from IQVIA’s Onco Specialists community provides insight and understanding into key topics such as: The impact of cancer patient visits at different phases during COVID -19 Interaction via telehealth/ remote consultations during difference phases of the pandemic What specific type of treatment practices are impacted? What are the current changes anticipated now that restrictions are being relaxed? What pharma/biotech initiatives can help Onco Specialists deliver the best care possible their patients What communication channels are pharma companies using to communicate with Onco Specialists? How and When was the data collected? Onco Specialists were invited to participate via email and the survey was hosted on DocNet – IQVIA’s internal and secure online community for healthcare professionals This survey was not sponsored by any IQVIA client/customer. IQVIA was not compensated in any way for this survey Data collection occured from the 17th of June – 22nd of June 2020 (Wave 2) We will be comparing results with our Wave 1 survey that took place between 2nd of April – 6th of April 2020 (Wave 1) Impact of COVID-19 on cancer treatment – France June 2020. 8 DISCLAIMER Sample size is not representative at country level. Sample composition varies at the country level. Sample sizes are different between Wave 1 and Wave 2 – Its important to keep that in mind when making comparisons between the changes observed in responses. In addition, some Oncology specialists might be responding to questions based on what they have actually experienced, whilst others may be based on what they believe might happen. This was a pulse survey. The questions asked are intended to provide top level insight into what Oncology specialists across the country are experiencing.
