About This Presentation

Description : Check out this medical PowerPoint presentation titled "MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM" by Myrna Williamson.

This medical PowerPoint presentation is about the musculoskeletal system, a complex network of bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissues that work together to support the bodys structure and movement. This system plays a vital role in supporting the body, protecting vital organs, and enabling movement.

The bones of the musculoskeletal system provide a framework for the body and protect vital organs, such as the brain and heart. Muscles, tendons, and ligaments work together to provide movement and stability to the body.

The musculoskeletal system is also responsible for producing blood cells in the bone marrow, storing minerals, and regulating calcium levels in the body.

Common conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system include arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, and back pain. Treatment options for these conditions may include medication, physical therapy, surgery, and lifestyle modifications such as exercise and diet changes.
